Building human capital through-out the country of Liberia

Learn Our Story

Thomas Tapeh

A Liberian native, who migrated from his country in 1989 at the beginning of The Liberian Civil war. Relocated to St. Paul, Minnesota and made the Twin Cities his home, but returning to Liberia did not seem to be in the picture. In 2018, things changed when Thomas returned home to attend his mother’s wedding.

The condition of Liberia awakened Thomas' desire to make a change. It starts with one great idea!

The return was a blessing and an eye opener. The condition of Liberia awakened his desire to make a change. The process of making a change starts with one great idea, and one great product to help fuel the idea. Tapeh’s Coffee Company was birthed from the desire of building human capital through-out the country of Liberia from the sale of Liberian grown coffee harvested at the perfect time by the local farmers.

Each bag sold will help fund the local farmers, their communities, and neighboring communities in helping with the building of schools, wells, hospitals, and recreations for the kids to enjoy.
